My dear family members were in town recently for an extended weekend! We got to explore midtown Atlanta together, fellowship and build memories! We visited Atlantic Station which is a modern outdoor commercial and residential area. Cultural institutions in Atlantic Station include the Millennium Gate Museum, with temporary art exhibitions, and the Robert C. Williams Paper Museum.

We ate a late lunch at HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern. One of my girl cousins and I had a strawberry Hennessey margarita and it was refreshing! It was my first time having one. HOBNOB offers table games so we connected over Connect Four. The food was great and the service was friendly!

We walked about a mile to the nearby playground so the kids could play and exert some energy. We adults got to digest our food on the long walk. We also visited the nearby lake and photogenic bridge near the Millennium Gate Museum a few blocks from the playground. It was serene and a great spot to simply enjoy nature.

We ended the night by watching the 2024 COPA America final soccer game between Argentina and Colombia at ILounge Taste the Difference Haitian restaurant in Marietta. Everyone loved their authentic Haitian food and cultural drinks. We even got to sample an upcoming dessert which is corosol/soursop ice cream. It was flavorful and heavenly!

Summer is for spending lots of quality time with family!
