Summer is coming to an end. This year, our summer vacation was spent visiting our family in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a week. I booked a thrifty flight from Atlanta to Miami with Frontier Airlines. My two-year-old son flew for free, thanks to my Discount Den membership and being flexible with our travel dates. My Hertz rental car was affordable, complementing my friends and family discount.
We got to celebrate my sister-cousin’s birthday and enjoy Florida’s beautiful tropical weather. A capacious beach day was a must for our trip! My cousins and I all shared in making our beach day fun and cozy by bringing a huge tent, fruits, refreshments, and cheerful hearts. My son got to savor some quality time with his second cousins. It was entertaining to watch the younger cousins play with each other.
