I love to reference various theologies to emphasize points on certain topics or principles. The Bible holds numerous golden nuggets on how we should aim to live a meaningful and impactful life. The nine Fruit of the Spirit are found in Galatians and highlight the areas we should focus on in order to maintain excellent moral conduct. Fruit is synonymous with deed or action.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV
Striving to be a good person every day is virtuous and morally sound. It does not guarantee a trial-free life. Selfless ambitions are regarded as noble. They yield both tangible and intangible rewards. It is worth the effort to bear good fruit.
