As we close in on year 2020, we can all agree that we feel we either have had a lot of or not enough time. Time is a non-renewable resource. Many of us have realized that we need to maximize our time. Worldwide lock downs and curfews, unemployment, among many other disruptions have given us extra time. How we spend it is paramount.
Five Ways to Maximize Your Time
- One of the best ways to maximize your time is to plan strategically.
- Have the end goal in mind.
- Prioritize your tasks/activities.
- Schedule your tasks on a calendar or reminder tool.
- Reward yourself in a healthy way when you accomplish your goal.
I hope you are taking time to reevaluate your life, be on top of your finances, organize your space, center your spirit, sharpen your professional skills and accolades, cleanse your body, travel safely, and lean closer to God. Use this pandemic to take action on things that seemed impossible before. Take calculated risks. Move. Move to better yourself. Eat a balanced diet. Pray daily. Love passionately. If you’ve lost your job, now is the time to do what you’ve always wanted to do. Just have faith. You don’t have anything to lose. Seize this pandemic to strive. To regroup.
I pray for those of you who have lost your loved one(s) to COVID-19. You may feel that you simply did not have enough time with them. Maybe one more phone call would have made their absence digestible. One more text. One more lunch date. One more family gathering. May you find solace in the beautiful memories you have had with your loved one(s).
How do you ensure you maximize your time each day?
